Each lantern is assembled by hand by skilled artisans who often pass on their skills from generation to generation.

We have been working with our supplier in Northern India for approaching 20 years. They are aware of the principles of Fair Trade and they do their best to make sure that these are followed. They provide good wages that are above the minimum wage and workers enjoy good facilities and working rules.
